PS3 creators wanted to release console without GPU
Some Sony executives thought that CELL could handle all the stress. So they idea was to release PS3 back in 2005 without GPU. A bad idea?..maybe, but definitely an interesting one. Ken Kutaragi’s a man with big ambitions.
