1. Unrar the file MinVerChk.rar
2. Create new folder on the root of the usb named PS3
3. Create another folder called UPDATE inside the folder PS3
4. Copy the PS3UPDAT.PUP to the folder UPDATE
5. Insert the USB stick into the PS3.
6. Start a FW update like normal from XMB(Don’t worry, it will not Update!)
4. It will shortly fail and display the Firmware Base Value

It will show Update data of x.xx or later can be installed on this system, it should be below 3.55 or 3.56, if it shows above 3.56 you cannot downgrade your console

NOTE

SUPER SLIM/40xx - Cannot be downgraded

30xx - Cannot be downgraded
